Product Warranty Terms

1. The warranty is valid from the date of purchase indicated on the legal proof of purchase.

2. The warranty is only valid upon presentation of the legal proof of purchase.

3. Before delivering a PC for repair, the customer must have created backup copies of his data and deleted confidential or personal data.

4. The repair will be done at the technical facilities of zontovolos.gr, with the presentation of the device during working days and hours.

5. In case of inability to repair the defective product, zontovolos.gr replaces it with another of the same or similar technical specifications or of a different manufacturer.

6. The method and costs of transportation to and from the technical support points of zontovolos.gr as well as the possible insurance of the devices are the choice and responsibility of the customer.

7. The completion time of the repair of Refurbished desktop and laptop computers is decided exclusively by zontovolos.gr. After the end of 15 days, zontovolos.gr undertakes to give the customer a product for temporary replacement until the repair is completed.

8. The repair or replacement of the product is at the absolute discretion of zontovolos.gr. The spare parts or products replaced are contained in his ownership.

9. This warranty does not cover the consumable parts of the devices (e.g. floppy disks, CDs, batteries, cables, etc.)

10. This warranty concerns only the unit of the desktop or laptop and not any peripheral devices such as mice, keyboards, monitors, printers, etc.

11. Problems arising from the computer operating system are not covered by this warranty. Problems caused by viruses are also not covered

12. zontovolos.gr does not support and does not guarantee products and computers on which illegal copies of operating systems or programs have been installed or used.

13. The technicians of zontovolos.gr are not obliged to carry out any material replacement, within the scope of the product warranty and as long as their warranty is valid, if they are not shown the original receipt or purchase invoice of the material to be replaced.

14. zontovolos.gr is not obliged to repair damage to PCs and other materials that have not been purchased from the zontovolos.gr store and/or are out of warranty, whether this damage was mentioned above or occurred during the repair or the presence of the technician.

15. In the event that the product was not purchased from the zontovolos.gr store or is out of warranty, any repair/replacement is carried out at the customer's sole responsibility and expense.

16. The company zontovolos.gr is not responsible for the installation, configuration, restoration as well as the side effects of the accounting, tax and other programs that it does not market.

17. Products that remain repaired in the store's service beyond 15 days from the customer's notification, are charged with storage costs.

18. The maximum liability borne by zontovolos.gr is expressly limited to the consideration paid for the product or the cost of repairing or replacing any part of the PC that does not work normally and under normal conditions.

19. zontovolos.gr bears no responsibility for damages caused by the product or from errors in the operation of the product, including lost revenues and profits, special, collateral or positive damages and bears no responsibility for any claim raised by third parties or by you on behalf of third parties.

20. Upon receipt of this guarantee (legal proof of purchase) the customer unconditionally accepts its terms.

What does the desktop and laptop warranty cover?

1. Refurbished PCs are covered by a 12-month warranty and Refurbished laptops are covered by a 12-month warranty.

2. For the 1st warranty year of Refurbished PCs, there is a parts & labor warranty

3. The completion time for the repair of Refurbished products is set at 7 days if the necessary spare parts are available.

After the end of the 15 days, zontovolos.gr undertakes to give the customer a product for temporary replacement until the repair is completed.

4. Refurbished laptop battery and power supply are not covered by warranty.

5. The specifications for the laptop screen provide that the existence of up to (3) infinitesimal dark or light colored dots (pixels) on this type of screens is completely normal and is not a reason to repair or replace the screen.

What the desktop and laptop warranty does not cover

1. Does not cover software problems, viruses, or operating system problems

2. Problems of peripheral devices such as printers, monitors, keyboards, watches, mice, cables, etc.

3. It does not cover transport costs to and from the facilities of zontovolos.gr

4. Damages caused by misuse such as wear and tear, falling, liquid spillage, broken or damaged plastic parts, etc.

Data and loss

1. Before the delivery of a unit for repair, the customer must have created backup copies (Backup) for his data and deleted information of a confidential or personal nature.

2. In case of hard disk failure, zontovolos.gr is obliged to replace the defective hardware, which automatically means the loss of the stored files and software without the company being responsible for them.

3. The customer is solely responsible for the security and safekeeping of his data, as well as for restoring and reinstalling it at any time and for any reason and cause.

The company will not be responsible for the recovery and reinstallation of programs or data other than those originally installed during the manufacture of the PC.

4. The company bears no responsibility for the stored data (data, files, programs) on magnetic, magneto-optical or optical media, as well as for any direct, indirect, additive or cumulative damage resulting from their loss.

The safekeeping and storage of the data belongs to the exclusive responsibility of the customer.

The guarantee automatically ceases to be valid in the following cases:

1. When the product is tampered with by a person not authorized by the company.

2. When the damage comes from poor wiring, accident, drop, vibration, exposure to extreme temperatures, moisture or spilled liquids.

3. When the product is subjected to physical or electrical stress.

4. When the device's serial number or distinguishing marks have been altered, removed or destroyed.

5. When the product is used in a way not defined by the manufacturing specifications or in an environment unforeseen by the manufacturer.

6. When the problem is caused by programs (eg viruses, over clocking programs) that change the functional characteristics of the device.

7. When the manufacturer's maintenance procedures are not followed.
